      Frequently Asked Questions

      Not necessarily. The Global MBA is designed for profiles from different academic backgrounds who want to develop an international vision of business, strengthen their management skills and prepare to work in global environments.

      Among our students, we find profiles from Business Administration or Economics, but also from areas such as Law, English Studies, Biology, International Relations, Translation and other degrees.

      What matters most is not necessarily coming from a business background, but having an international mindset, an interest in understanding how companies operate in global markets and the motivation to develop your professional profile in multicultural business environments.

      To access the Global MBA, candidates must have completed a university degree or be in the final stage of their studies. In this case, each situation will be assessed individually, taking into account the number of pending credits and the candidate’s profile.

      As the programme is taught 100% in English, candidates are required to have at least a B2 level of English in order to follow the sessions properly, take part in class discussions and complete the academic work.

      All candidates must also complete an interview with the IME selection team, aimed at understanding their background, motivation and professional goals, and assessing whether the programme is a good fit for their profile.

      The Global MBA is taught 100% in English, so English is the main language required for the programme. However, having some knowledge of Spanish can be helpful for daily life in Salamanca and for certain professional opportunities in Spain.

      The Global MBA can open doors to professional opportunities in international and multicultural environments, especially in areas such as international business development, export management, global marketing, international sales, project management, operations, finance or people management in global companies.

      The specific opportunities will depend on each student’s previous background, interests, language skills and professional development throughout the programme.
